The road extension of the core route: from Granada into the mountain lands of the former Muslim Kingdom, and on to Seville, the capital of Andalusia today. On the way we stop at Ronda — one of the places where Tariq and Musa passed through in 711–712, an enclave containing history from pre-history to present day Spain. Our walks in Ronda take us through the streets and alleyways of the old medina, with stops at the Casa del Gigante, the Casa y Mina del Rey Moro, and the Arab baths. After a relaxed stop at Ronda, we continue the rest of the way to Seville for the Alcázar and the Gothic cathedral.
